Bacteria thrive in hot water. To keep spa water protected all of the time, a residual sanitizer is needed even if the spa is equipped with an ozone system. SpaGuard's Brominating Concentrate provides spa owners with a one-step bacteria fighter, no need for two products anymore. Brominating Concentrate is pH neutral, so it will not affect your spas pH or alkalinity levels as well as needing no pre-treatments or activators to begin working. This concentrate will eliminate odors and other undesirable compounds, simplifying spa maintenance while creating a healthier and more comfortable spa environment. it is very important that your pH is in range for your sanitizer to work effectively.

Pre Treatment:
- Ensure all spa and tub equipment is working properly.
- Backwash or clean the filter system following manufacturers directions.
- Adjust pH to between 7.2-7.6.
- When using other products as outline in the directions for this product, always follow directions on those products.
- Spas should be drained and cleaned at least every 60 days or whenever water becomes difficult to manage or keep clear.
- Both oils, salts and lotions should not be used unless specifically formulated for use in spas and hot tubs as they can lead to cloudy water.
Instructions for Routine Maintenance:
- Add 1 level teaspoon of this product per 200 gallons of water with circulation system running
- Test for available bromine and repeat sanitation dose at 15-20 min intervals until a residual of 3-6ppm is established.
Instructions for Super Oxidation:
- Add 4 teaspoons of this product per 200 gallons of water with circulation system running
Instructions for Algea Treatment:
- Add 4 teaspoons of this product per 200 gallons of water with circulation system running
