ClearRay pH Up
Raises pH & Softens Spa Water
Principal Functioning Agent: Sodium Carbonate 100%
ClearRay pH Up will increase the pH of spa or hot tub water. The total alkalinity of spa water should be maintained between 80-150ppm as determined by a suitable test kit. Maintain the pH within the designed range of 7.2-7.8.
ClearRay pH Up should be used as necessary when the pH is below 7.2.
For best results, dissolve granular products first by adding to a small, plastic pail filled with water.
If your pH is between 6.8-7.2- add 1oz (2 tablespoons) per 500 gallons of water.
If your pH is lower than 6.8-add 2oz (4 tablespoons) per 500 gallons of water.
- Determine amount of ClearRay pH Up to use
- Make sure equipment is OFF
- Add applicable amount of ClearRay pH Up to water
- Turn on circulation system for 1-3 hours.
- Retest water after 3 hours
- If pH is still below 7.2, repeat steps 1-5.
Please note they use this bottle for most products, the fill line differs pending the product weight.
