Leisure Time pH Balance Plus 3 lbs

Locks in proper pH level from refill to refill even in hard water areas.
Leisure Time Spas & Hot tubs...Simple Spa Care.

Features:

Fast dissolving granular formula
Locks in pH until next refill
Formulated especially for hard water.
Use at start-up as part of the Simple Spa Care Program.

Compatible With:

Chlorine, bromine and biguanide sanitizers.

Directions:

Add 1-1/2 lbs. of pH Balance Plus for up to 250 gallons of spa water or the entire 3 lbs. for up to 500 gallons of spa water. Pour directly into spa.
Turn on jets and allow water to circulate for 15 minutes. Temporary cloudiness may occur, but the water will clear quickly once the product is fully dissolved.
Repeat the application each time you refill your spa with fresh water.

This stuff works great!

Ever since i started using this at water changes, my water has stayed cleaner longer because it is balanced at the right pH and alkalinity. I can go 3 months or more between changes depending on usage and it stays crisp and clean. This stuff sets you up for success. Wish i had used this when i first got the tub...would have made my life easier.

It's a good product

The product works as it should. Initially, I thought the container had been tampered with because it was only two-thirds full, but I put on the scale and it was indeed 3 pounds. I will say that I love ordering from the Spa and Pool store! They have great prices, the delivery is always fast and they always have what I need in stock!

Good product with a bonus

I bought this product because of claims that it will stabilize the pH in my spa. Although it has only been about a week, it seems to be living up to that claim. It also came with a surprising side effect. The old calcium deposits that have been inside my 15 year old spa have started to flake off. It's starting to look like brand new!

Q: What is the difference between PH balance plus and Ph balance?

A: HI Stacy,

pH Balance cannot be used in high calcium areas where calcium is over 150ppm. pH Balance Plus is made for hard water areas. I hope this helps!

This is one of those products, the Leisure Time pH Balance Plus. Please keep in mind this type of product is only recommended in a low calcium environment. I would recommend Silk Balance for any other calcium levels. Thank you!

Q: what product will raise ph and lower alkalinity?

A: Hi Michael,

There is not a product that will raise one and lower the other. You will need to decrease both with a Spa Down or Decreaser, and increase them individually, based on testing. These will decrease together but increase separately. Thank you!
